New Promotions at Northridge Village
AMES, Iowa – Pivotal Health Care and Northridge Village are proud to announce the promotion of Jamie Farrand-Ratzke, RN to Director of Nursing and the appointment of Angie Anderson, RN to Assistant Director of Nursing.
After graduating from Iowa Central Community College’s Medical Assistant Program and receiving an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing, Jamie began her career as a registered nurse. Once garnering over 13 years of versatile experience in healthcare, she joined Northridge Village in February 2017 as the Assistant Director of Nursing and MDS Coordinator.
At her former position at Northridge Village, Jamie demonstrated exceptional skill and care. “I am passionate about resident-centered care,” she said, “I enjoy the relationships that are built with residents and their families.”
As Director of Nursing, Jamie is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to healthcare patients of Northridge Village, as well as maintaining quality and consistent care that meets company, state and federal regulatory standards.
Angie came to Northridge Village from Southfield Wellness Community where she held the position of Assisted Living Nurse Manager and QA Infection Control Nurse. Angie earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing from Iowa Central Community College and brings 10 years’ experience as a registered nurse to our community.
As Assistant Director of Nursing, Angie is responsible for the completion of the MDS 3.0, a tool for standardized assessments and facilitating care management, and assisting Jamie with planning, coordinating and managing the nursing department.
